Priority Courses for HESLB Loan 2025/2026 – Bachelor Degree: List Kozi Zenye Kipaumbele Kupata Mkopo Bachelor Degree 2024/2025. Minister of Education, Science and Technology Prof. Adolf Mkenda has launched the guidelines for issuance of loans and grants for the academic year 2024/2025 and reminded students to study hard to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the government through loans and grants.
List of identified priority programs for HESLB Loan 2024/2025 – Bachelor Degree
All accredited degree programs shall be categorized into three clusters reflecting national priorities as defined in the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) as detailed below.
Cluster One programs
1. Education in Science Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), and Technical and Vocational Training;
2. Health Sciences: (Doctor of Medicine, Dental Surgery, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Physiotherapy, Biomedicine, Biotechnology and Laboratory sciences, Radiotherapy Technology);
3. Engineering Sciences: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Mineral and Processing, Textile, Chemical and Processing, Agriculture, Food and Processing, Automobile, Industrial, Maritime Transportation, Marine Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Bio- Processing and Post-Harvest, Water and Irrigation, Aircraft Maintenance and Pilot Engineering
4. Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Chemistry, Oil and Gas;
5. ICT and Programming, Information Systems Management;
6. Actuarial and Data sciences;
7. Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Sciences and Production Management;
8. Bachelor of Arts in Kiswahili; and
9. Education in Technical and Vocational
